This new edition of 9 Heads has been completely revised to bring all the fashion garments and details up-to- date. Numerous new drawings of street wear, active wear, bridal wear, swim wear and lingerie have been added. Breakdown drawings are shown for an even wider selection of garments and new croquis are included in a variety of poses reflecting contemporary attitudes and stances. New dedicated chapters cover the topics of composition – how best to group together figures when illustrating a line of garments; concept drawings – developing the skills necessary to make quick studies or to jot down ideas when creating a new clothing line and Using Photoshop – a review of how Photoshop can be used to enhance and extend the drawing techniques the book teaches.

i am a fashion design university student and i cant live without this book for in-detail drawings of the face, hands and how fabric moves on garments. Ive used it through out my course and my illustrations have improved greatly because of it. A def must have for all fashion students out there!

My drawing has really improved after using this book - and the bonus is, this version has more illustrations than version 3, which I really like. There are cheaper books around but I found I got better results using this one than the others (I'd tried them out at college).

This little (big......) book is great, instructions are easy to follow - the enclosed CD is really helpful great buy do not regret it at all. Exercises are self explanatory, diagrams are good and text although a little wordy at some points are interesting and insightful if you want to wade thru it I'm a bit of an anorak (so I do), I really really like/love this book

When this book arrived I was shocked to see how thick it is! It's packed full of information about drawing; from the basic body shape to rendering fabrics and colours. The amount of detail and time that is put into this book is outstanding! I would reccommend this to anyone who wants to improve their fashion illustrations or even someone who just wants to be able to improve their shading and drawing skills! Overall, a great buy and well worth the money.

This is a fabulous book to show anyone 'how to draw fashion' It has step by step detailed drawings on how you draw a body and how the body moves. You get a clear guide on how material fits, different cuts etc.. and how the clothes you make moves with the body. I bought this for my daughter who is showing interest in fashion, sewing, art etc.. but I could not put it down, I draw a little bit myself and I too have learnt alot from reading through this book. You Do Not need to be an artist to buy this book, it has a fantastic detailed way of showing you a really good method on how to begin your fashion drawings.
